The Next Crisis: Business Resilience

I was invited by the Institute of Internal Auditors (“IIA”) Bahamas Chapter, to present at their “GRC: Digitalization in an Expanded Work Environment” themed seminar.  I presented on the topic "The Next Crisis: Business Resilience".

The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged and continues to challenge business operations.

Business Resilience is the difference between whether an organization “SINKS or SWIMS” when it is faced with disruption (like the COVID-19 pandemic) or risk. It builds on the principles of Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, and Disaster Recovery Planning. However, it extends much further, to assists organizations with their ability to be able to successful adapt to disruptions and risks in a timely manner.
